The TRAVELER’S notebook Tokyo Station edition is easy to misunderstand because two different ideas sit close together: the official TOKYO EDITION and the TRAVELER’S FACTORY STATION shop inside Tokyo Station.
The Tokyo Edition is a Tokyo-themed notebook and accessory collection. The Tokyo Station shop is one place where you can look for it. They are related, but the shop is not a guarantee that every Tokyo item is in stock.
What the official TOKYO EDITION includes
TRAVELER’S COMPANY describes the TOKYO EDITION as a notebook collection focused on Tokyo, the company’s home city. The cover uses a black leather cover with Tokyo icons in foil, and the set includes a blank TOKYO refill.
The collection also includes Tokyo-themed accessories such as:
- the TOKYO blank refill;
- a postcard refill;
- TOKYO brass charms;
- a TOKYO sticker set;
- a TOKYO brass pencil.
The official product page lists the Tokyo imagery: city buildings, Mt. Fuji, houseboats, public baths, and familiar foods. This is more specific than a generic black TRAVELER’S notebook, which is the point of buying the edition in Tokyo.
Where is TRAVELER’S FACTORY STATION?
The official shop page lists TRAVELER’S FACTORY STATION at JR Tokyo Station, Marunouchi 1-9-1, in the station’s underground level outside the ticket gates. The shop is in GRANSTA MARUNOUCHI, near the Marunouchi Underground North Exit.
The official listing currently shows these hours:
- Monday–Saturday: 10:00–22:00;
- Sunday and public holidays: 10:00–21:00.
Check the official shop page before you go. Station facilities can change hours, and the shop’s current listing is more useful than an old travel video.
Is the Tokyo Station shop the only place to buy it?
No. TRAVELER’S COMPANY says the Tokyo Edition is sold at TRAVELER’S FACTORY and participating TRAVELER’S notebook retailers. The company also warns that sales timing and stock vary by shop.
That means the Tokyo Station shop is a strong first stop because it is convenient and official, not because it is a guaranteed reservation counter. If the item matters to your trip, check stock by phone or ask the shop before making a special journey.
The official Tokyo Edition page is the place to confirm the current product details. The shop list tells you where other retailers are, but it also recommends confirming stock with the store.
What should you buy?
If you are new to the system, start with the notebook cover and one refill. The Tokyo Edition already includes a blank Tokyo refill, so you do not need to buy a drawer full of inserts on the first visit.
Add the brass charm if you want a small, recognizably Tokyo detail. Choose the sticker set if you plan to use the notebook as a travel log. Choose the postcard refill if you want to draw, stamp, or write memories that can later leave the book as mail.
The accessories work best when they support how you write. A Tokyo souvenir that stays inside a drawer is still pretty, but it is not doing much traveling.
Tokyo Station or Nakameguro?
TRAVELER’S FACTORY NAKAMEGURO is the flagship shop. It makes sense if you want the broader TRAVELER’S FACTORY experience and have time to visit a neighborhood away from the station.
TRAVELER’S FACTORY STATION is the practical choice when you are changing trains, shopping in Marunouchi, or want to buy the Tokyo Edition without adding a separate district to your itinerary.
