Tokyo gives TRAVELER’S notebook fans three useful ways to shop: the Nakameguro flagship, TRAVELER’S FACTORY STATION at Tokyo Station, and the airport shop at Narita. They are not interchangeable stops.

Choose by the kind of visit you want. The flagship is the destination. Tokyo Station is the efficient city stop. The airport shop is for a final purchase before you fly.

TRAVELER’S FACTORY NAKAMEGURO: make it a destination

The Nakameguro store is the flagship shop. The official information lists it at 3-13-10 Kamimeguro, Meguro-ku, with current hours of 12:00–20:00 and Tuesday closure.

Choose Nakameguro if you want:

  • the full TRAVELER’S FACTORY atmosphere;
  • time to browse the notebook system slowly;
  • stamps, accessories, and customization ideas;
  • a stationery-focused neighborhood stop rather than a station errand.

The flagship makes sense when the store itself is part of the trip. Do not add it to an already crowded day just to buy a standard refill.

Check the official store information before you go. Small-shop hours and events can change.

TRAVELER’S FACTORY STATION: the practical Tokyo stop

TRAVELER’S FACTORY STATION sits inside JR Tokyo Station’s underground level outside the ticket gates, near the Marunouchi Underground North Exit. The official listing currently shows 10:00–22:00 Monday through Saturday and 10:00–21:00 on Sundays and public holidays.

This is the right shop when:

  • you are already at Tokyo Station;
  • you want the TOKYO Edition or a station-area souvenir;
  • your train schedule leaves limited time;
  • you want to combine the stop with Marunouchi stationery shopping.

Our Tokyo Station stationery route explains what else is nearby. Our Tokyo Edition guide covers the Tokyo-specific notebook and accessories.

TRAVELER’S FACTORY AIRPORT: the final stop

The official shop information lists TRAVELER’S FACTORY AIRPORT at Narita International Airport Terminal 1, Central Building, fourth floor. It is useful if your itinerary takes you through Narita and you want one last notebook or refill before departure.

Do not confuse this with Haneda. If you fly from Haneda, KOKUYODOORS is a stationery option, but it is not a TRAVELER’S FACTORY shop. Check the airport and terminal before making a plan.

Which Tokyo item should you look for?

The official TOKYO Edition page lists the Tokyo notebook, blank and postcard refills, brass charms, stickers, and a brass pencil. The Tokyo Edition is the obvious souvenir choice, but the regular system can be more useful if you already know how you write.

Buy the Tokyo Edition when you want a durable record of the city. Buy a standard refill when you need more writing space. Buy a charm or sticker set when your existing notebook already works and only needs a small Tokyo mark.

Stock is part of the route

TRAVELER’S COMPANY warns that stock varies by shop and recommends calling ahead to confirm availability. This matters for the Tokyo Edition and other limited or location-specific items.

Use the official shop list as a starting point, then contact the shop if the item is the reason for your visit. A photo from a social post proves that the item existed; it does not prove that the shelf still has it.

The short answer

Visit Nakameguro for the full TRAVELER’S FACTORY experience, Tokyo Station for convenience and Tokyo-specific shopping, and Narita Airport for a final purchase before departure. Confirm stock before you travel, especially for the TOKYO Edition and limited accessories.
